When your microservice automated testing starts to “drop the chain”

Imagine this: the new function you just launched ran smoothly, but a few days later the order processing suddenly slowed down by half a beat. After a while, the payment interface reported an error inexplicably. After checking again and again, we found that there was not a problem with the code itself, but that there was something wrong with the collaboration between the various microservices - one service was updated, and the other failed to keep up; an interface changed its parameters, and the module calling it was still using the old rules. There is nothing mysterious about microservice automated testing. It is essentially an ongoing habit. Just like you check whether the doors and windows are closed every day when you get home, there must also be a regular "inspection" mechanism for the running system. The more automatic this mechanism is and the more it is in line with the actual flowing data, the more secure you will be when you sleep at night - after all, who knows where the next user will be and in what unexpected way, triggering a series of service interactions that you have never thought of?

To start doing this, you can start small: first pick a core business link, clearly list the services passing through, the interfaces called, and the expected data, and then simulate various possible plots on this link like a director rehearsing a play. Once things run smoothly, slowly expand the scope.
